We are so excited to announce that Tim Daly is joining Daly Video Services at last! Tim brings with him 30+ years experience as a TV news reporter and anchor. He shares his vast knowledge of the news business with private sector groups anxious to learn how to obtain news coverage. His humor, voice, and boldness make him a popular Emcee.
From 1991 to 2016, Tim reported and anchored for KXTV in Sacramento (ABC). Before that he worked for nearly 5 years at KGW in Portland (NBC). His other TV news jobs were at KOLD in Tucson, KTSM in El Paso, and KFTY in Santa Rosa.
At 4 of those stations Tim was also a substitute sports anchor. When needed, he'd shoot and edit news stories as well. As budgets and news staff shrunk, Tim drove live trucks and established remote live shots. He continues to show his versatility and passion for all things media. Most importantly, he's very excited to share his insights with agencies in need!
In addition to working with DVS and leading media workshops, Tim also volunteers his time hosting community events and fundraisers. Among the events he has moderated and emceed are those listed below.
